What is a BLOG

Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter) that  is
frequently  updated and  intended  for  general   public  consumption.
Blogs generally represent the personality of  the Website.

      the Journal section. Updated 24/6/2009

      The 45th MSPTM Annual Seminar 2009 abstract book and details
      are  being  archived  in  the  Archive  Download  section.  Updated
      9/6/2009

      Added   Dengue   Summit  Newsletter in  the  Newsletters section
      Updated 8/6/2009

      Added new section at the bottom right panel (Press Release)

      Added the  list of  MSPTM  members in  arrear of subscription for
      three years and above in the Members section   


OUR OBJECTIVES:

MSPTM (Overview)

MSPTM (Malaysian Society of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine)
was founded in 10 January 1964.
WHAT WE DO ?

The Society's main activities are concentrated in organizing a yearly
scientific seminar with a different theme each year revolving around
current   issues  in   Tropical   Diseases   and  Public  Health.   This
scientific seminar serves as a platform for the scientists to present
their research findings.

The society also holds a mid year seminar where key speakers are
invited to talk on current topics of Medical Importance.
To promote research and education for the  advancement  of
Parasitology and Tropical Medicine.
To  disseminate  information  on  Parasitology  and  Tropical
Medicine with particular reference to the Malaysian region.
